La puissance du sang

"Et ils l'ont vaincu par le sang de l'Agneau et par la parole de leur témoignage, et ils n'ont pas aimé leur vie jusqu'à la mort." -Apocalypse 12:11

Les croyants chrétiens sont impliqués dans un conflit. Notre ennemi est appelé "le serpent", "le diable", "Satan" et "l'accusateur de nos frères" (Apoc. 12:9, 10). Il a commencé ce conflit dans le jardin d'Éden et continuera jusqu'à ce que le Seigneur revienne pour régner. 

La bonne nouvelle est que Satan, notre ennemi, est un ennemi vaincu ! La mort expiatoire et la résurrection du Christ ont accompli sa défaite complète et finale. Le sang du Christ fait prévaloir le peuple de Dieu, car il répond à toutes les accusations de l'ennemi. Satan contrôle et vainc l'humanité par la culpabilité et les accusations. Il est un maître chanteur. Cependant, les saints savent que le sang de Jésus a satisfait toutes les accusations portées contre nous, nous a unis à Dieu et nous a fourni toutes les dispositions nécessaires pour vaincre Satan !

Dieu nous a déclarés justes et victorieux, et dans la révélation de l'apôtre Jean sur le conflit final, le message est passé : "Ils ont vaincu [Satan] par le sang de l'Agneau". Notre pouvoir de vaincre est le même !

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." -Revelation 12:11

Christian believers are involved in a conflict. Our enemy is called “the serpent,” “the devil,” “Satan,” and “the accuser of our brethren” (Revelations 12:9, 10). He began this conflict in the Garden of Eden and will continue until the Lord returns to reign. 

The good news is that Satan, our enemy, is a defeated foe! Christ’s atoning death and resurrection accomplished his complete and final defeat. The blood of Christ causes God’s people to prevail, because it answers all of the enemy’s accusations. Satan controls and defeats humankind through guilt and accusations. He is a blackmailer. However, the saints know that Jesus’ blood has satisfied all of the charges against us, joined us to God, and provided us with every necessary provision to defeat Satan!

God has declared us righteous and victorious, and in the Apostle John’s revelation of the final conflict, the message came through: “They overcame [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb.” Our power to overcome is the same!
