Le triomphe du Royaume

Sur sa robe et sur sa cuisse, il a ce nom écrit : ROI DES ROIS ET SEIGNEUR DES SEIGNEURS. - Apocalypse 19:16

Le message du Royaume de Dieu (1) fait écho à l'enseignement de notre Seigneur Jésus durant Son ministère terrestre, (2) a été enseigné à Ses disciples comme "l'Évangile du Royaume" qu'ils devaient prêcher, et (3) a fourni l'élan du témoignage de l'Église primitive. Aujourd'hui, nous tenons donc ce message intemporel : "Le Roi est venu et son royaume est présent aujourd'hui avec puissance !" Et en même temps, nous déclarons : "Le Roi vient et Son royaume se manifestera un jour dans une gloire encore plus grande !" L'Apocalypse nous montre comment cette double vision converge en un seul message. 

Dans l'Apocalypse 12, nous voyons l'Église en guerre. Il y a des pertes et des victoires ; il y a des luttes et des moments de dépassement puissant. Le témoignage de l'Agneau, vaincu par le Sang et proclamé par la Parole, est à nous pour tenir comme Il manifeste la puissance du royaume maintenant ! Mais l'ultime manifestation de la puissance du royaume attend le dernier jour. Alors que Jésus lui-même mène la charge finale contre toutes les formes de mal, nous voyons l'Eglise gagner (Apocalypse 14). D'ici là, nous le servons dans la confiance des "triomphes du royaume" - maintenant et pour toujours !

The message of the Kingdom of God (1) echoes in the teaching of our Lord Jesus during His earthly ministry, (2) was taught to His disciples as “the Gospel of the Kingdom” they were to preach, and (3) provided the thrust of the early Church’s witness. So today, we hold this timeless message—proclaiming “The King has come and His kingdom is present today with power!” And at the same time we declare, “The King is coming and His kingdom will someday be manifest in even greater glory!” The Revelation shows us how this dual vision converges as one message. 

In Revelation 12 we see the Church warring. There are casualties and there are victories; there are struggles and there are moments of mighty overcoming. The testimony of the Lamb, overcoming through the Blood and proclaimed through the Word, is ours to hold forth as He is manifesting kingdom power now! But the ultimate display of kingdom power awaits the final day. As Jesus Himself leads the final charge against all forms of evil, we see the Church winning (Revelation 14). Until then we serve Him in the confidence of “kingdom triumphs”—now and evermore!
